About me
John Schaufele ’04 has worked at Tailwater Capital since 2021 as managing director and head of investor relations and fundraising, overseeing all investor development, servicing, and relationship management activities for the firm. Previously, he spent 15 years originating, executing, and monitoring private equity investments at The Energy & Minerals Group, having sat on the boards of 11 platform companies while involved in transactions representing over $5 billion of invested equity in the energy sector. John currently resides in Dallas with his wife and three daughters.
